What are semi-persistent connections ?

The semi-persistent  is a technique used in a wireless. For a persistent connection subscriber must be remained in the range of an access point. A connection is maintained as long as when a subscriber will be remained within a server range. When subscriber goes out from the access point then this connection cannot be called a persistent connection. Wireless networking is complex to manage because users move around and it is difficult to locate subscribers and devices in a wireless network.
