Google Announces Pixel 4 to Take on the iPhone 11 Pro

At the biggest event of New York google has announced its new phone pixel 4 and pixel 4 XL. All previous releases of google pixel phones are known for their best camera result and performance which is at it's best. Google claims that many of iPhone 11 Pro customers will woo the new pixel 4 camera with best reviews.

The Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL buck the notch trend at the front but they come with hefty bezels instead. On the positive side, the bezels on the Pixel 4 XL are better than the XL sized notch found on last year’s Pixel 3 XL.

Size and Smoothness:

As for display features pixel 4 comes with 5.7-inch FHD+ as compared of it pixel 4 XL have 6.3" QHD+ OLED displays with a refresh rate of 90Hz. As compared to old pixel phones it has higher refresh rate for smooth display.

As compared to iPhone 11 pro the pixel 4 has higher refresh rate which gives you quality of smoothness and UI interactions will be better as compared to iPhone which has 60Hz.

Motion Sensor:

Face Unlock

The top bezel on the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL also includes relevant IR hardware for face unlock. Google is going all-in on face unlock this year and it has not included a fingerprint sensor on the phones at all.

As for the camera, the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL feature a dual-camera setup at the rear. This includes a primary 12MP f/1.8 shooter with OIS and a secondary 16MP telephoto sensor. While the entire smartphone industry is racing towards including an ultra-wide angle sensor on its smartphones, Google has ditched it in favor of a telephoto sensor. Some of the new camera features on the Pixel 4 series include Astrophotography, Action Mode, improved Night Sight, Super Res Zoom, Live HDR+, Dual Exposure control, and more.

On the software front, the Pixel 4 runs on Android 10 and features next-generation Google Assistant. The new version of the voice assistant runs locally on the device which makes it significantly faster to process voice requests. It also comes with a new Voice Recorder app that can transcribe recorded audio in real-time.
