R Remote MySQL - Access Database of Another Host/Domain

MySQL as usual most popular database around the web world. TwoClock uses MySQL for it's database support. Database forums are full with the questions "How to connect MySQL on another domain?".  Remote MySQL in cPanel for allowing other servers to access other domain MySQL database.

Allowing a Remote Server to Access Your Database

Before connecting to MySQL from another computer, the connecting computer must be enabled as an Access Host.
  1. Open your cPanel,  go to Databases > Remote MySQL.
  2. Type your domain name or the IP address you want to connect. Click button Add Host.
    • Note: You can find and add your IP address directly from this tool. Look for Your IP is: 123.123.12.123 [Add]. Clicking the [Add] link will input your IP into the field box below.
  3. Click Add, and you should now be able to connect remotely to your database.

What is Remote MySQL?

Remote mysql allows visitors to communicate with database remotely via different domains. Which means a domain or IP address must be added to access database from different server. Host your database on other domains and access them on other domain is basic concept.
